Acquisitions/Dispositions include: Decommissioned and demolished the Sebring Building in St. Petersburg for the site of the new 6th District Court of Appeal. Disposed of the Gore Building in Fort Lauderdale for $62.6M. Assumed operations of the Robert Edward Blackburn Jr. (FDLE Tampa) building. Acquired the properties at 625 N. Adams Street, 112 E. 1st Ave., and 716 N. Monroe in Tallahassee.Managed public meetings, correspondence and financial management of the division's memorial projects including Arthur G. Dozier (Marianna, Florida and Florida Capitol), Slavery, Holocaust, and POW-MIA Memorial.Responsible for oversight of statutorily required annual reporting including the Master Leasing Report, Strategic Leasing Plan, State Facilities Inventory Report, and Lease Renegotiation Report. These reports consist of real estate market data as well as lease and personnel data for all executive branch agencies. Collaborate with the state’s tenant brokers (Savills, CBRE, and JLL) on strategic statewide real estate initiatives, special projects and all state private leases exceeding 2,000 sq ft to ensure each lease action is in the best interest of the state.Negotiated statewide elevator preventative maintenance, repair, inspection, and testing services. Show less Led a diverse team of six individuals to carry out the procurement of contractual services, design and construction services, draft and manage contracts, process ~$14M in utility bills annually, track consumption, and conduct background screening on employees working for vendors hired by the department. The contractual services procured ensured the 112 facilities and approximately 12M SF of space the division managed was properly maintained and operated to ensure a functional and effective workspace for tenants throughout the state. The team also coordinated client agency agreement and agency-managed project requests. Customers were both internal and external to the division as we assisted each of the other five bureaus in the division and any agency that wished to alter their owned or leased space.
