Show less As an Engineering Manager I am responsible for a diverse team of manufacturing engineers who support the Trim and Final manufacturing function and contribute to ensuring that the JLR Solihull Plant Scorecard targets are achieved. I am the Final Assembly 2 champion for quality, governing robust problem solving with emphasis on risk based thinking and recurrence prevention. Ensuring process capability is continuously improved via the growth of team competence and skill is a crucial part of my role.I play an instrumental part in driving new initiatives and my team's performance is measured against our ability to deliver demonstrable productivity improvements, cost savings and quality improvements. My experience within fast paced manufacturing operations helps to establish best practice processes to achieve premium quality whilst minimising cost and achieving delivery targets.
