During the meeting, the student and I will discuss their interest in the area, courses that I have taken within Business Management or Human Resource Management, opportunities to network with professionals in the field of Business Management and Human Resource Management, involvement opportunities on campus with professional and academic student organizations (such as SHRM), and program requirements. Along with being a Major Mentor, I also attend events hosted by the Exploratory Advising Center to be involved with the students in their major search and to be present to answer any questions they may have.
