  As an Air Contracting/Pricing Analyst for Collette Tours, I had the responsibility of designing air pricing for our escorted tours as well as resolving contract related issues in regards to the airlines we contract with. Financial models were used to forecast pricing as accurately as possible along with using our current contracted fares to predict where prices will actually be. Given that airline prices fluctuate so frequently, our variable cost pricing was released up to two years in advance in order to give our sales team an appropriate time to sell the product.
