Show less As the library's Outreach Services Coordinator, I am responsible for coordinating library-wide, off-site programming to seven groups a month within our community as well as representing the library at any community events. I also work collaboratively with other community organizations and partners to support projects and events. Putting together supplies, budgets, funding, equipment, record-keeping, and meeting rooms for these programs to run sucessfully. I also collaborate with other library programmers within our library to bring unique, blended events to patrons at the library. Other than events, outreach also consists of connecting homebound individuals to the library's resources by selecting materials for them each month, packing bags, making deliveries, and maintaining contact with each individual. Additionally, I operate as the head of our volunteers and I onboard and coordinate them to ensure all outreach individuals recieve their deliveries on time, that events have plenty of hands, and that our programs are adequately staffed especially during the summer months.
