  For my second placement, I moved to the Mechanical Delivery Team at Cottam Development Centre (CCGT Power Station) in Nottinghamshire. There I took part in a major overhaul and upgrades on a site outage to a Siemens 4000F Gas Turbine. I assisted with contract delivery as a Uniper Engineering Representative to monitor quality and timeliness as well as to ensure safety on site by pushing site health and safety initiatives and safety audits. I was the contract lead for the overhaul of the hydraulic control skids for the turbine.I also led the site Modifications Procedure which ensures that design rigor has been applied to all changes to the site, following internal and external legislation and guidelines.
