      My team and I were awarded a grant of €1000 from the UCD Career Development Center to undertake a project which encouraged Undergraduate and Postgraduate University students to develop healthy Lifestyle choices, by creating 8 short video tutorials with sample meal plans that are both nutritious and budget-friendly.

      Cairde Dublin Community Sponsorship Group (CSG) was established in February 2024 by UCD academics, staff and students to support 2 students with refugee status in Sudan and South Sudan to come to Ireland as part of an Education Pathway scholarship programme to complete their postgraduate education in UCD.Education Pathways are a type of complementary pathway that provide refugees with a safe and legal way to take up scholarships in host countries. Refugees who are selected to participate in the programme will be seen, recognised, and treated as international students, and not just defined by their refugee status. This identity dimension should not be underestimated, as it is often the aspect of complementary pathways that has the greatest impact on refugees’ subjective well-being.Responsibilities: Fundraising CoordinatorRaised €2,300 for Cairde Dublin through completing 170km Ring of Kerry 2024 Charity Cycle. Created a Fundraising plan for Cairde Dublin committee members, evaluating numerous strategies to increase fundraising efforts to achieve a target of €10,000.
