      Participated in Demand-creation and mobilization of clients in refugee settlements of Rhino camp, Omugo, Invempi and communities of Maracha, Terego, koboko, Zombo and Arua for Voluntary safe medical male circumcision.Ensured clients are counselled and tested for HIV and administered first dose of TT Vaccine, assessed all the legible clients for bleeding disorders, signs of fever and current infections, congenital abnormalities such as epispadias and hypospadias prior to circumcision.Assisted the surgeon during and also carried out circumcision following the national recommended methods such as dorsal slit and observing universal precaution of infection controls and preventions.Facilitated wound healing through gauze removal during the follow up sessions in 48 hours, 3 days and 7 days protocols and management of local infections.Managed advance events (AEs) following circumcision such as hematomas and active bleeding( hemorrhage) Show less
