  This is a Non Government Organization registered under Indian Companies Act 2013 as a Non Profit Sharing organization. The Secretary is a Director on the Board of the Company and functions as the CEO of the organization and reports to the Board. The Chairman of the Board is Mr T Harish Rao, the present Finance Minister of Telangana State, India. One of the key challenges of the Secretary's position is to organize the All India Industrial Exhibition which is India's oldest(83 years), largest (visited by over 2 million visitors and longest (for a period of 46 days, Jan 01 to Feb 15 every year, since 1938). The expenses for organizing the Exhibition are met by charging stall rents for the nearly 1500 stalls, and charging a nominal entry fee to over 2 million visitors. The savings, after expenses, are utilized entirely to support and run 19 educational institutions serving nearly 30,000 students, and one charitable Medical and Diagnostic Centre. To organize the Exhibition, nearly 170 Members of the Exhibition Society work as volunteers and another 800 paid workers are engaged on a temporary basis. The challenge for the Secretary is to build a cohesive team, interact with the various Government Departments to obtain regulatory clearances and lead the team from the front, to conduct this mammoth event safely and successfully.
