  Project : Hawiyah Unayzah Gas Reservoir StorageClient : Saudi Aramco Oil CompanyAssigned as a Site Engineer (Mechanical/ Piping) at a facility to store off‐peak surplus sales gas via injection into the Hawiyah Unayzah reservoir during the low demand season for reproduction back to the Master Gas System (MGS) during high demand, thereby maximizing gas plants utilization. The WORK includes a combination of Greenfield / Brownfield work within a large and remote geographic operating area.The main function of the injection facilities is to compress surplus sales gas from MGS for injection in the Hawiyah Unayzah reservoir via 22 identified wells. The gas injection facilities comprise of parallel injection compressors to compress 1,500 MMSCFD of sales gas from MGS pressure up to the 5,000 PSIG injection pressure of the Hawiyah Unayzah reservoir.The main function of the reproduction facilities is to boost the pressure of the re-produced gas from the same 22 wells and separate liquids from the reproduced gas and re-introduce the gas into the MGS.The scope of work assigned by the company was divided into two:Injection Scope:Construction of Twenty-Two (22) Injection Flow lines (of 10 IN x Sch. 160 sizes each) estimated overall 98KM pipelines transport gas from the Gas Gathering Manifold (GGM) to the Well Head (new wells and existing well)Construction of Well Head injection (Ø10”) Piping from the Flowline Raiser to the wellhead tie-in including valves, instruments, structures, and scrapper launchers & receiversReproduction Scope:Twenty-Two (22) Reproduction Flow lines (16 IN size of estimated length of 58 KM - 12 Nos and 20 IN size of estimated length of 39 KM - 10 Nos) transport gas from respective well heads (new wells and existing well) to Gas Gathering Manifold (GGM)Construction of Well Head reproduction (Ø16” & Ø20”) Piping from the Flowline Raiser to the wellhead tie-in including valves, instruments, structures, and scrapper launchers & receivers.
