  My duties and responsibilities, while I worked at the Spar consisted of replenishing stock, general cleaning of the shop floor, cleaning and organising the stock room, and creating and updating a paper-based system for the stock control of the current stock in the dairy cabinet. I also dealt with customer’s queries and trained new staff. During my time at the spar I developed my skills in working individually and within a team. Part of my job required using my own initiative to co-ordinate and complete tasks. I have learnt to listen and follow instructions set by my employer. Show less

  Crew Member

  I worked as a part time Crew Member to generate income whilst studying for my A-Levels. My main duties consisted of: taking and preparing customer’s orders, cleaning the work area to comply with health and safety regulations. On occasion I assisted other colleagues with their tasks showing initiative and flexibility in working. This gave me experience in working within a team and developed my skills in customer service.

  My role involved answering incoming calls from business regarding orders for Viking Direct office supplies and inputting the data into the company’s database. My role also involved directing customers to the right departments if I was unable to help them and general advice on their orders.

  ICT Technician

  I worked in a school providing technical support to students and staff in an educational environment in the use of ICT Resources. I maintained and installed computer software and equipment. I also was responsible for locating and repairing faults to equipment in school. I organised the bookings on a daily basis for IT equipment and I ensured that the storage cupboards were tidy and clearly labelled.
