  PhD student

  I worked on an European proyect. My PhD thesis work focused on the pathogenesis of breast cancer metastasis, in particular the involvement of redox and glycolytic proteins in the organ-specific progression of breast cancer. The principal aim of my project was the identification of new protein markers of diagnostic and therapeutic interest, particularly for lung metastases. This project has led to a patent, a joint first author publication in Oncogene and a second paper is in preparation.
