  I worked there from 9th July to 27th July. My responsibilities in the first week and 3 days was to work with the QS team and help anyone who might have needed some small additional work done. So, I was given the work to highlight all the BOH (Back of House) and also compare the files created by the construction company and the client this helped me see various plans. The last two days of the second week, I went to Big Box where I learned about the various kinds of pipes which are required for a retail complex, I understood how tendering worked, how places were economically good, how they give off the place to the company. The third week first two days, I went to One Central where I was shown the place and discussed the various kinds of tiling and the material used for the walls and the floor. We discussed the various aspects of the building such as elevators, the office floors, the aesthetics of the outside and the inside. I was personally very keen on comparing the interiors of it and that of Dubai International Financial Centre which was also designed by the same company. On Tuesday and Wednesday, I went to Dubai Creek Harbour (DCH) where I worked with the design team. Show less
