      My responsibilities as a junior geologist were focused on a gold exploration project in the Yukon’s remote white gold district. My duties included: working in the field in a leadership role, training staff, GPS navigation, GIS mapping, working with helicopters as well as constructing seasaonal camps and logistics.

      Working as a Junior Geologist my primary responsibility has been creating geological maps for a remote gold exploration project on the edge of the Arctic Circle. The process of creating a geological map starts on the ground with the creation of a detailed surface map; finally, an underground map is created using the surface structural and lithological data to infer the underground geology.
