Feb 2019 - Dec 2019Executive Director (South West)Appointed as Executive Director on February 27, 2019 at the meeting of the Governing Council in Abuja to Chair the Training Faculty of the Institute in Lagos for effective coordination of the training and capacity development needs of Health Maintenance Organisations (HMO) and healthcare facilities (Hospitals) mandated by the regulator (NHIS) to address professional certification issues in the vourse of routine monitoring and evaluation of the operations of any one found wanting by NHIS, as well as attend to the training needs of individual Health Insurance practitioner desirous of skill enhancement. Until this appointment Idowu was the Principal Resource Officer and Vice Chairman of the Lagos Faculty of the Institute for Health Insurance and Managed Care of Nigeria since January 2015 and has tremendously impacted the industry in meeting training needs f Hospitals and HMO referred to the Institute by NHIS. Idowu has added value to the Institute in the areas of research and mentoring of new HMO business start ups, such that some of his proprietary work have become patented in the library of the Institute at the national office in Abuja for undergraduate and postgraduate research work in the field of health insurance.
