Making new friends, learning a new language, the perks of having worldwide connections with exchange student, I have certainly learned more than just the courses I enrolled for. Show less

      Throughout the year I worked being a cashier, drive-thru and kitchen crew member. In each role I was keen and very passionate about fulfilling my responsibilities with a smile. Through this job I learned interpersonal skills as well as gained efficiency and production skills. I was trained to be a cashier as I progressed to more responsible tasks. I also handled the drive-thru and other roles within food production. It was a humbling experience and a fun one throughout as I would be keen to stay and work as late as a young teen could and take up as many shifts as I was allowed to do. Show less

My roles varied each week: first week I was required to design a prototype bracket for a medical device to be mounted on an emergency stretcher used in emergency helicopter. I was then taught the AS3551 standards and upon doing so was servicing other medical devices. My roles then progressed unto servicing GE Aiysis Anesthetic machines, which takes an entire day to complete. This particular service requires to check every subsystem of the machine such as the ventilator, respirator, patient vital monitoring, Anaesthetic volatile agent delivery, Gas mixer etc. Show less
