Over the last three years, we have reskilled and employed over 250 refugees from UNHCR Refugee Camps.   Contributed to UNHCR's global policies, and guidance on meaningful participation, engagement and partnership with organizations led by forcibly displaced and stateless persons.- Supported the work of UNHCR’s inter-divisional Task Team on Engagement and Partnership with Organizations led by Displaced and Stateless Persons, working closely together with UNHCR Regional Bureaux and the Advisory Board of Organizations led by Displaced and Stateless Persons.- Provided inputs to UNHCR guidance and policy documents.- Supported the establishment of the first global Advisory Board supporting the Task Team (Development of ToRs, Selection process, in person workshops, and development of a workplan) - Coordinated with the Advisory Board, organizing regular, briefing and ad hock meetings, writing minutes of meetings and ensuring their inputs are integrated into the Task Team's work and deliverables.- Assisted in the development of the mapping tool of community-based organizations and organizations led by displaced and stateless people.- Coordinated the development of UNHCR’s Refugee-led Organization definition with a diverse stakeholder working group and supported its dissemination. - Contributed to the development of the task team information pages, on Intranet, on the Global Compact of Refugees’ Page and its briefing note.- Supported the participation and identification of forcibly displaced and stateless experts in Global key events and initiatives.- Supported the Task Team and the Advisory Boad in the 2023 Global Refugee forum (drafting of a joint refugee statement, orientation session, high level side event on meaningful refugee participation, etc) Show less
