  As an undergraduate research assistant, I contributed to Cornell University professor Sabrina Karim's Gender and Security Sector Lab, by participating in remote fieldwork. During this research assistantship, I translated the Global Security Force Personnel Survey, which was used to collect data from the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces. The objective was to understand the barriers that women face in UN peacekeeping deployment.

  Under Dr. Julie Ficarra's supervision, I contributed to the Comparative Outcomes for International Internship Participants and Host project. Tasks performed included transcribing interviews on the mutual benefits of global internships among Cornell University students and conducting a thematic coding of participants' responses. I also performed a literature review of 15+ sources about international internship discourse for university students.
