      General Worker

This was my first ever official job, I started this when I was 12 years old in my first term of High school. Although I started on $8 an hour (before tax) this job quickly showed me that I loved working hard and earning my money. I would sometimes show up almost an hour early (by choice) and almost always would leave up to an hour over time(unpaid and not by choice) but never complained. This job was not easy but I pciked up a bit of resilience. My responsibilities and skills I learnt:- Working the till quickly (phone orders and in person)- calulating change quickly - Completed 2 online Fish and chips frying, cooking, preparing and hygiene courses- Cleaning at end of night (Brooming and Mopping entire store, wiping all surfaces, cleaning all dishes and equiptment, cleaning floor in back room after dishes)- Preparing foods (battering, crumbing, weighing and measuring foods, storing)- Cooking foods and boxing to serve to customers Show less
