  • In my role as founder and president, I established and guided the day-to-day operations of a start-up supported employment agency. • I managed income and expenses to meet budgetary goals; designed and implemented all corporate policies and procedures; hired, trained and directed agency staff; and sustained compliance with all Florida Medicaid Waiver and Social Security Ticket to Work Program regulations. • As the lead employment counselor, I cultivated and identified volunteer, on-the-job training and paid employment opportunities for individuals with injuries, physical and cognitive disabilities and mental health conditions. • I provided consulting services to many local and national employers including Publix, Walmart, Lowes and Home Depot and developed ADA compliant job accommodations and work site modifications in order to foster inclusive and equitable access to employment opportunities for individuals who have been historically excluded from the workforce. • Our dedicated, client-centered services were rewarded with a statewide first-place ranking for Florida Medicaid Waiver supported employment providers in 2010/11 based upon the combined results of quality assurance audits and customer satisfaction surveys.
