  Provide oversight and strategy to the Operations business unit departments in the area of Human Performance Improvement. Function as the HPI Champion for all related processes and training programs. Manage all key processes and deliverables, ensuring consistency and continuity between groups. Oversee event tracking and trending of all HPI-related events and data. Represent the business area(s) on all HPI steering and advisory committees. Support the increased NERC focus on Human Performance Improvement (HPI). Current job focus is to work with Transmission groups on ways to identify, track and ultimately prevent/reduce human performance errors. Duties involve assisting Transmission groups with the design and development of a HPI strategy and training plan. Responsible for certain aspects of NERC/ FERC compliance training, but mainly focusing on the Human Performance Initiative within the Transmission organization.
