    • C-SPAN

      Jan 2015 - Dec 2015
      Senior Fellow

I developed materials for C-SPAN's Classroom Deliberations page. I curated video clips from the C-SPAN video library and organized them for use as part of in depth lesson plans on current, controversial issues. I consulted with and supported C-SPAN's Education Department to develop and maintain the C-SPAN Classroom website and other classroom resources.I was previously a C-SPAN Teacher Fellow in July 2013. In that position, I supported the C-SPAN Education Team in developing educational materials for the C-SPAN Classroom website. I collaborated with other Fellows on a professional development workshop to help other teachers learn how to use C-SPAN content in the classroom. I curated content from the C-SPAN video library and organized it into useful chunks of video for use in flipped classrooms, webquests, and lessons. Show less
