Approximately in all areas (except in general shift in sinter operation) the percentageutilization of the employees are greater than 75 % (hence they are well engaged towards their work.)b. General shift in sinter operation percentage utilization of the employee is 67.13 %For Sinter E&I - Percentage utilization of the shift employee is 62.51 % which is quite low.For captive power plant –a. Shift employees have utilization 87.99 % .b. Maintenance employees has utilization 51.25 % but these employee are very important for theshutdown days.For Not working period (Non value activity )Most of the Non-value activities are occurred because of late start and sitting idleRecommendations –a. Solution for hammer mill , proper inspection by electrical dept – crusher hose (sinter plant)b. Proper no of vehicle and driver , working time of the driver should be as per rule - RMHS(sinter, MBF) , RM2 (sinter)c. Issue process from the store should be simple.d. Proper planning. – mechanical and electrical dept ( MBF , sinter )e. Proper support from worker & Availability of worker at workplace.f. Proper maintenance of the a Crane – PCM &EOT crane (MBF)g.
