      Project engineer Manufacturing and Processes

After 3 years of successfully implementing new and high-technology centrifugal compressors into serial production I start in a new and challenging project to introduce the most energy-efficient oil-free air screw compressors to the world-wide market. In this cross-functional team we will again try to balance the golden triangle of cost, scope and time to market. Apart from that I will continue on optimizing the production process. The implementation of LEAN principles on the main production lines is a fact but sustainability and introducing a state of continuous improving will remain to be a challenge. Quality is the goal and this will ask an effort from everyone involved. Projects:o ZH350+: Introduction of the most energy efficient oil free air compressor into serial production. Serial production was achieved on 01/05/2013o ZH Mk II: Worldwide introduction of the new edition of centrifugal compressors in the range of 1000l/s to 2000 l/s. Including phasing out the original unit in cooperation with Atlas Copco Wuxi (China). Serial production achieved on 01/11/2013o ZH IHC: Introduction of in-house-owned variable speed drive technology for compressors with magnetic bearings. o Introduction of the Z160VSD TranZformer which is the most energy efficient, oil free air screw compressor in the world. Ongoing.o Supporting the implementation of the LEAN-principles for manufacturing at 2 production lines. ZR/ZT110-275 and GA90-160.o Introducing the cross-functional seating within Atlas Copco Oil-free Air divisiono Introducing the “kitting-concept” for the production process of the ZH-compressors at Atlas Copco Show less
