  PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Water Security Mega Reservoirs Project in Doha, Qatar, The largest reinforced concrete reservoirs in the worldDue to the continuous growth and development in Qatar, the Qatar General Electricity & Water Corporation (KAHRAMAA) has decided to launch an ambitious water project to provide seven days strategic water storage within its network system. The project entails construction of five potable water mega reservoirs sites and interconnecting network of large diameter water pipelines. Each reservoirs site will ultimately comprise up to nine reservoirs. The reservoirs, with a capacity of 100 million gallons (450,000 m3) each, are the largest reinforced concrete reservoirs in the world.
