  Footsteps Bangladesh is a next-generation development organization that empowers communities to tackle community-specific problems through effective self-sustaining initiatives. The organization designs social ventures to address the multitude of challenges that exist in our communities in the fields of health, environment and education.At Footsteps, I was responsible to - Lead overall implementation and management of Public Health programme toachieve deliverables including concept notes, project proposals, fundraising,inter-agency communication, budget management, action plans and monitoringprocesses in rural regions of Bangladesh (Kushtia, Satkhira, Noakhali etc.).-Identify grant opportunities, potential partners to develop and secure grantsand coordinate with over 40 funding & strategic partners.-Liaise and ensure close collaboration with regional grassroot agencies,government bodies (DGHS, MOH, LGRD etc.), stakeholders (Gates Foundation,UHCs, UHFPO etc.) to facilitate smooth project operations in designated areas.-Ensure procurement and management of project assets (healthcare supplies,medical equipment etc.), logistics and other resources required forimplementation in emergency/non-emergency settings.-Convene monthly reports to review progress, maintain database, analyze resultsand respond to optimize operational needs.-Coordinate training sessions of healthcare providers & volunteers, with fieldbased advocacy and awareness building activities in target communities.-Innovate ideas and plan to develop communication and IEC materials (banners,pamphlets, documentary etc.) for project activities.Lead periodic public health campaigns through planning, collaboration, logisticsmanagement and execution of campaign objectives in urban & rural settings.-Guide, train and lead the volunteer network for programme activities and campaign objectives Show less -Facilitate needs assessment for identifying project strategies and interventions inthe evolving context of the project location.-Assist in setting annual operational plan, logical framework, project goals andactivities.-Facilitate project proposal development for pitching to donor agencies.-Conduct feasibility survey of project sites and identify stakeholders, beneficiariesof designated areas.-Identify and finalize project resources through testing, analysis and feedbacks Show less

A pioneer in conducting research on issues of public health importance and delivering services through its innovations in Bangladesh and similar settings. At CIPRB, I work in the International Drowning Prevention and Research Division, in a drowning prevention programme 'SeaSafe' where I am responsible to:-Lead and manage project operations through close collaboration with team members, administrative government bodies and donors, to ensure successful implementation within designated timelines, objectives and outcomes.-Draft periodic donor reports and presentations to effectively communicate project progress, key achievements, challenges, lessons learned, and way forward.-Engage in collaborative and coordination meetings with government and non-government agencies, to represent the organization at national and regional level.-Develop strong rapport and effective communication channels with local communities, partner organizations, government officials, and relevant entities, to highlight priorities and ensure coordination among stakeholders in Cox’s Bazar and Dhaka.-Contribute to project proposal and budget development through research, data analysis, and compelling narrative formulation.-Play a key role in securing funding and advancing the organization's mission and ensuring project sustainability.-Conduct periodic project site visits at Cox’s Bazar to assess implementation, adherence to procedures, and provide supportive supervision and training to the team.-Contribute to the development of internal and external communication materials, such as fact sheets, newsletters, and social media posts, videos and documentary.-Support the Policy Advocacy Team by conducting research, analyzing policy documents, and contributing to execute advocacy strategies.
