      Duties included confined space mechanical preparation and painting on the inside lower section of the transition piece all done to the respective standards. Lifting operations from transition pieces to work vessels and confined space area. Painting to NORSOK M-501 standards using two component epoxymastic paint Duties Included rope access preparation, grinding and painting to the boat landings and the occasional damage to the transition piece, behind the ladders on damaged brackets, Lifting operations from work vessels to transition pieces.       Working in teams of four we were mainly working on the quayside loading the cables onto two vessels, assembling the Sea Protection System onshore before loading it onto the vessels, cutting and sealing cables. General upkeep of the site making sure we have enough stock and everything it ready for the next cable so there is minimal delays for the vessels. When we were quite onshore we would be offshore as tower team riggers, moving and rigging up all the equipment ready for cable pulls and documenting all the work that is carried out. Duties included 48 hour planning to optimize working time offshore, organising all paperwork including daily works paperwork, Permits to work, receiving and answering emails, manifests for the vessels. Ordering usable stock.On the site closure we had 85 generator sets to come back to shore, I had to get all of the sets disassembled offshore then reassembled onshore, order transport to be taken away with minimal time for sets to be on the quayside, have them all serviced before returning, keeping all the correct part numbers with each set. Work included; working and over seeing the works for rigging and de-rigging the turbine for the works, making sure it has been completed in a safe and secure manor, works in the confined space in the bottom on the transition piece including levelling bolt removal and surveying, completion of work permits and works report paperwork, tool box talks at the start of each job to ensure everyone knows what they are doing and pointing out any issues, also part of the safety committee having regular meetings with management and the client it go over any safety issues and finding a solution to rectify any problems.
