      I was a one on one aid for special needs children. I did anything from coaching to planning daily activities for the children. The best part of the job was how rewarding it was and really being able to make a difference in someone's life on such a personal level. Everyday was like overcoming new obstacles and their is a lot of thinking that has to be done on your feet in that line of work.

      Was responsible for hitting a quota of $40k a month in mattress and bedding sales. During my time as an assistant manager I floated different stores on a daily basis. This makes it hard to create repeat business for yourself, as well as get people to buy on the spot. However, I was able to do this and be promoted to store manager of the Hillside retail location. When I took over Hillside sales volume went up 25% from months prior and previous years. Also, sales margin went up almost a full 10 points. Show less

      Took inbound calls and assisted customers in the setting up of their utilities. I worked with numerous systems to be able to create accounts, run credit checks, take payments or create payment plans for customers. After 9 months I was voted by my bosses and co-workers (40+ people) to be one of two ambassadors for our team. It consisted of being the voice of my co-workers for our manager's and executives in the company. I expressed thoughts and ideas of how to make tasks easier to handle and accomplish for other employees and our customer's. I also transferred within the company to our warranty department. I am responsible for setting up claims for customers and being the liaison between 3rd party service providers and our customers. We have metrics we need to meet for sales goals, adherence to schedule, availability (when on the phone), attendance and sales conversion rate. Show less
