      Dec 2014 - Mar 2016
      Sales Assistant

My position at Fenwick was unofficially a ‘floater’, this meant that I could be assigned to any concession on the day and would have to work with a whole new set of people and products. I learned to be adaptable and to problem solve as new situations always presented themselves. I was trained on the main phone to direct customer queries to the appropriate department and was trusted to take security and first aid calls. This required me to act quickly and calmly under pressure to ensure the safety of customers and staff members. Show less

Most of my role as student ambassador includes advising prospective student about university choices and applications. As part of this role I have lead campus tours for groups of up to 30 people and was involved in running the summer schools for students, during which I ensured students were engaging in workshops and were in the right place at the right time. Recently, I have led and demonstrated a forensic workshop for 2 classes of year 10 students, and will soon be leading a similar session but for the chemistry of water testing. For both these work-shops I deliver an oral presentation about the experiment; giving a demonstration of the experiment and then facilitate and advise students during the practical. Show less

Increased responsibility within the Project Management Team, and leading more process developments. Subject Matter Expert on SAP ERP and local process audits. Further involvement and responsibility in Stability with pulls and study set downs. At the Biopharm Central Testing Lab I help to ensure product cycle times are met by communicating effectively with manufacturing sites and work closely with the QC team. After being in the associate position for 7 months, I have fully taken on project management responsibilities and been promoted to Project Manager II. I have taken my knowledge of Quality Control Testing and moved into the Project Management at the BioCTL, GSK. This role allows me to take on more responsibilities; managing the products tested at the BioCTL and gaining exposure to a different perspective of the Pharma Supply Chain. In the Quality Control department at GSK BioCTL, I adjusted to a new work culture and a new set of GMP rules and regulations while performing testing as a part of the Pharma Supply Chain. I am glad to be working at a company that values Integrity, Respect, Transparency and is Patient-focussed.
