  With my first three illustrated books from this publisher making the best seller's list, I was awarded the opportunity to travel on a national book tour with country music singer Ricky Van Shelton (country singer/author) for nearly a decade. During this process, I became a marketing consultant for Dye, Van Mol, & Lawrence Ad Agency in Nashville where I helped design an international product line and merchandising line, and worked closely with execs in the Nashville music scene to help with creative promotion of the tour, merchandising, and implementation of additional marketing strategies.   I am a children's advocate, public speaker, host, television personality, and author/illustrator. I have been in the public eye for over 20 years starting with the publication of my first children's book, "Tales From A Duck Named Quacker" with country music legend, Ricky Van Shelton, at the "too young" age of 19. I traveled on a national book tour for over a decade, and settled my roots in DeKalb County, Tennessee, along with my husband and four children.My job has had many faces through the years, but all sharing the common thread of creativity and innovation. I have worked in publishing, charity events, fashion shows, and television. I am currently hosting events and booking motivational speaking engagements. I would love to speak to your group or organization....I have been interviewed nationally including Entertainment Tonight, Good Morning America, The 700 Club, The Today Show, along with national news....but my favorite thing in all the world is proving to children that anything is possible!
