      RADLab is a research group associated with the department of Neuroscience in the UC San Diego School of Medicine. As an undergraduate research assistant, I used electroencephalography (EEG), eye-tracking, motion capture and behavioral testing to study sensory processing and motor function in autistic and control subjects. I collaborated with project scientists in experimental design, set-up, and data collection.       For two years, I conducted research at the Computational Neurobiology Laboratory (CNL) at the Salk Institute for Biological Sciences. As part of my responsibilities, I performed Western Blotting, RT-qPCR and immunofluorescence to study changes in gene expression in a mouse model for schizophrenia. I coordinated with other scientists, attended regular lab meetings, and contributed to the generation of data for a number of scientific projects.
