  It was a great opportunity provided by Nayara Energy. I worked with warehouse department.I have done a project on learning warehouse operations and review of inventory control MRP items. I got to learn many things in warehouse operations part I got the whole overview about receipt, binning and issue. I learn how they do it manually by entering it into SAP and how the whole materials management SAP works. I also got an overview about the necessary documents that is Mandatory at every stage of the WH operations.In reviewing of inventory control items I reviewed the inventory controlled items based on the different ageing and necessary suggestions given for different ageing. I also suggested the minimum inventory level based on the comparison of actual stock and system suggested stock levels. This helped in Saving amount and also in some case problems of stockout can be solved. I also performed ABC analysis and learn their inventory control analysis like ABC,XYZ and FSN analysis.Overall it was an wonderful experience which gives me lots of knowledge about practical implementation of my learnings as an operations management student.
