    • Sacred Cafes London

      Jan 2002 - Oct 2014
      Director and Co Owner

I created this brand in order to take advantage of the rapid evolution of the London coffee drinker. One year was spent designing, protecting and researching the Sacred brand and offering - starting from a small kiosk and soon opening our first cafe in Carnaby street. Over the next ten years we grew the business to 7 locations with 45 staff and maintained a reputation for being one of the top cafe experiences in London. As a Director I was involved at all levels of the business, from original concept creation through to negotiating large scale investment with a major supermarket chain 12 years later. There is no area of the business landscape that I have not visited regularly, though my passions lie in the fields of strategy, project management and marketing. Over the past 12 years that I have been at the wheel, I have guided Sacred through a recession, a highly competitive marketplace and a rapidly evolving and increasingly savvy consumer. It has left me with a large range of competencies learnt under fire in a City where only the very best thrive. After a great deal of thought, in August last year I decided to sell my 50% shareholding to my business partner and look toward new challenges and new experiences in my life. Show less
