Following were my responsibilities:-Plan and execute the maintenance activities on a timely basis.-Performance monitoring and evaluation of the subordinates.-Prepare KPI's and targets for the group and individuals.-Prepare contracts and tenders.-Prepare annual budget.

  Responsible for the maintenance of the power plant. Involved in setting KPIs, strategic planning, performance monitoring and evaluation, risk management and annual budgeting. I was also the internal auditor for the ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & BS OHSAS 18001 certified by Bureau Veritas Certification. I was involved in the maintenance and operation of the Basochhu hydropower plant (64 MW) and the generating station. Major responsibilities were setting up KPI's of the unit and the employees, carry out the annual budgeting, maintenance planning and scheduling, supply chain and inventory management,etc. I also attend various meetings with the stakeholders.

  Look after the pre-bid and post-award works of Electro-Mechanical packages; MEM-4, MEM-5 and MEM-6. MEM-4 covers Design, Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply, Erection, Testing & Commissioning of 400 kV XLPE Insulated Power Cables. MEM-5 includes HT< Switchgear, 220 V DC Supply system & Power Cables. MEM-6 covers Protection Systems, PLCC, 48V DC Supply System and Computerized Control System.MEM-4 has been awarded to M/s Sudkabel, Germany and MEM-5 to M/s Schneider Electric Infrastructure Limited, India. MEM-6 is still under tendering & pre-bid stage. During the contract execution phase, I and my team are responsible for examining drawings & documents and its approval, approving Quality Assurance Plans, carrying out QC checks and associated tests/inspections, verify & move RA bills and ensure quality during testing and commissioning of the equipment.
