  - Hired to launch a new testing department at Accelerated Technology in 1997 - IV&V (Independent Verification & Validation).- Position was created to be independent from Engineering while verification and validation of the documentation and software took place to ensure it was ready for release. - Prepared testing processes and procedures that would ensure the products would be tested in a consistent manner each time. - Prepared test plans, test specifications, test matrices, post-mortem reports, weekly status reports and frequently asked to provide statistics on past releases.- Testing consisted of an out-of-box testing experience, which entailed everything from critiquing the end user documentation to downloading and running demos on hardware. - Defect reports were opened when issues were encountered and were followed through until they were closed. - Release process ensued, allowing the product to be released for customer usage. - Often faced with lack of resources and time constraints but quality product was still released. - Worked across multiple groups from Senior Management, to Engineering, to Tech Pubs. - Trained and managed a group of Test Engineers up to 20 people; both locally and offshore.- Assisted in training and staffing an offsite location in Lahore, Pakistan.
