  Electrical Apprentice

  Having Left School and wanting to become an electrician, getting an apprenticeship was hard to come by. I was not successful the first year of applying, I decided to get a part time job and start my first year of the City & Guilds 2330 Course on my own accord. After Completing My First year I was successful with Derry Building Services, whom I completed my training with and shaped me into the electrician I am today.

  Electrical Subcontractor

  During my Sub-contracting I completed various types of electrical installations for different companies, this meant working away for the duration of the installations and also working weekends at a moments notice. The work ranged from banks to retail shops, the Warner Bros film studios in Watford, Office blocks and 2 mansions in St Johns wood London. I enjoyed working as part of a group and we all committed to every job fully and a task was never not completed. After a few years I decided to get a permanent income so I could get on the property ladder to begin that section of my life as the group had come to an agreement of splitting up to pursue different paths.   I Have been Working as part of a team doing various electrical and building installations across the business. I have assisted my supervisor in the electrical planning and design of the installations and also filled in his role when he was absent. Due to games workshop being a versatile company, the tasks the department undertake are vastly varied. This resulted my general construction knowledge and skills being widely expanded to suit the company needs and their growth as a business.

I have had the pleasure of working on many great projects in different sectors such as Education, Leisure facilities,industrial/manufacturing, commercial offices and accommodation.
