  I was responsible for the overall implementation of the Early Grade reading program and advocacy initiatives under the USAID/School Health and Reading Program (USAID/SHRP) including quality assurance of the project implementation in Napak. I coordinated with the district and sub-district governments and other relevant stakeholders in the Karamoja region and represented the project at different levels.   • I am responsible for overseeing the day-today implementation of activities under the Bursary Programme. I Interact with stakeholders, beneficiaries and other likeminded CSOs in the Karamoja region. I offer knowledge, guidance and technical skills to all the Bursary technical team as well as other Bursary Stakeholders like the parents and guardians’ and ensure at all times that the programmatic, financial, health and sponsorship service aspects of the programme are managed efficiently and effectively. • I innovatively promote the image of the Bursary program within the region and beyond the borders of Karamoja through the representation of the programme at different platforms.• I am responsible for developing deliberate strategies to promote awareness of Bursary opportunities within Karamoja as a region and ensure support of the linkages outside Karamoja.• I Support the implementation of policies and procedures under the Bursary programme within the region to ensure the maximization of office efficiency and overall improvement of the bursary programme effectiveness.• Effectively lead the planning, evaluation, and setting of annual target goals for the Bursary Program by closely working with the Bursary programme team.• Take full responsibility for financial reporting of the Bursary activities, running queries and generating periodic reports on Bursary activities in line with donor requirements and STF guidelines. • Maintain a linkage between the Bursary programme and the district leadership and participate in strategic planning and implementation of district related initiatives in like with the Bursary programme.
