      •Write up demonstrations and activities by conducting research on the topic of choice and developing an appropriate science experiment, activity, or craft. •°Factors taken into consideration include: age and education level, location of the activity, type of event, expected level of engagement (i.e.: ‘walk ins’ vs captive audience), the supplies and level of preparation needed.•Engage with the public at various venues such as the planetarium itself, schools, community events, and other museums and educational sites•Facilitate science demonstrations and crafts at weekly “Fun Science Friday”s and monthly “Clark Creates” art activities where we see guest counts range from 50 to 150 dependant on the time of year•Run telescopes, facilitate activities, and educate the public about astronomy and light pollution at regularly scheduled Friday night Star Parties hosted at Wheeler’s Farm•Help organize and run large scale special events at the Planetarium, including but not limited to a 2023 New Year’s Eve Party and the Anniversary Celebration of the Apollo 17 mission, with guest counts of over 400•Design handouts and activity pages such as printable endangered animal masks and coloring pages Show less
