I prepare appropriate reports, briefing and background notes, and the required documentation to ensure conformity with the projects terms of reference. I also contribute to the preparation of narrative and financial reports of activities in compliance with the agreement scope of work signed with the donors. I also support communication with donors: Korea and India visibility.I organized for 2020 year, the two African Development Bank Group Business Opportunities Seminars (BOS): The first held on 28th April and the second on 13th and 14th October. The events met a resounding success with more than 500 participants from all over the world. The BOS is a one-stop forum meant to increase the pool of successful providers of goods and services that can qualify for AfDB projects, hence contributing to the efficient implementation and ultimately the success of AfDB Group-Financed projects. Show less The AfCoP project aims to support the African Community of Practice for Managing for Development Results (AfCoP- MfDR) to mainstream MfDR into the policies and strategies of the Regional Member Countries. It also accelerates the implementation of regional policies and programs by using the MfDR approach, in order to promote regional integration. As the Operations and Finances Officer, I was in charge of overseeing the financial transactions of the project. I managed a grant of 12,000,000.00 USD. I established the project annual budget and coordinated the finances for 18 countries with the completion of monthly financial reports. I also monitored all the project operational costs. I conducted financial due diligence and applied AfDB’s accounting procedures. I prepared the project job descriptions, ensuring vacancies are planned and created two to four months in advance and selected candidates to fill vacant posts in a timely manner. After selecting candidates, I followed the procedure with SAP software (creation of purchase requisition, contract creation, purchase order issued, monitored payment and mission travels, etc.).I provided and controlled the project procurement for services and goods. I planned and supervised all the operational functions of the project and organized workshops and regional events from 2015 to 2019. I complianced and reported project activities from 2018 to 2019.
