Furthermore, I have experience in inputting data in the Legislative Constituent Management System (LCMS), data ranges from constituent opinions on bills, constituent cases that the office has open, as well as entering petitions that constituents have signed.   Spark Clean Energy was a new renewable energy non-profit start up that looked to develop renewable energy innovation at the collegiate and grassroots level. The organization supported students across the nation to share their ideas, businesses, and inventions in a competition to receive funding from the United States Department of Energy. As the Outreach and Event Planning Intern, my duties included- Researching student organizations on campuses that had interest / were focused on renewable energy and renewable energy entrepreneurship. - Engaging in outreach across 3 states to grow engagement with our non-profit organiaztion- Arranged and conducted 5 phone calls a week with student leaders of collegiate renewable energy organzations- Created a list of candidates who would help promote renewable energy entrepreneurship and host events for our organization in their region.   I was tasked with developing and executing a research project for market entry into Rhode Island. This policy brief included looking at renewable portfolio standards (RPS's), transportation, energy efficiency, and and overview of sustainable energy regulations and legislation within Rhode Island. I worked with various members of CSE's policy team in order to ensure my policy deliverables were relevant to our organizations goals. The final aspect of the project included a brief which recommended entry intro the Rhode Island energy market as a worthwhile way to expand CSE's operations in the Northeastern United States.   Japan Exchange and Teaching Program(me) (JET)

  Assistant Language Teacher

  The JET Program is run by the Japanese government and involves the government hiring participants to teach in schools in Japan in order to promote English language development and internatioalization of Japanese students throughout Japan. The program places participants in each prefecture in Japan. I am based in Kobe city in Hyogo prefecture.I currently teach English at two elementary schools and one junior high school. Work requires collaborating with my Official Teacher of English in Junior High to develop team teaching plans for our lessons and also include me planning all lessons at the elementary school level. As the english level at each school varies, I engage with school staff in both English and Japanese on a daily basis, sometimes using only Japanese in order to plan and carryout lesson plans with the Japanese homeroom teacher. I am also responsible for translation between my schools and foreign guests that come to visit our schools for international events.In addition to lesson planning, I am responsible for developing relationships with students and getting them interested in foreign cultures or going abroad.
