  I was employed for two months by Micromine in my university summer vacation period. For the duration of this time I worked in the Micromine UK office, London. My tasks included; Creation of wireframes from drillhole data, creation of resource estimation reports to an NI 43-101 standard, geological research and customer relations. I will be returning to Micromine in the summer of 2012 where I will be working on my 4th year project for my degree.

  For two months I worked as an intern geologist in MICROMINE’s Beijing office. Working alongside the consulting team I contributed to resource estimation work including carrying out data validation, QAQC, interpolation and lab reports. I also travelled to Mongolia to visit an exploration site. There I led a small team collecting core samples for petrographical study which forms the basis of my Masters project.

  I joined the Hastings conquerors as a Defensive Backs coach and was quickly promoted to Defensive Coordinator. My role was to write the defensive scheme and playbook, plan and lead safe and effective training sessions and call the defensive plays during games. During this time I undertook my Level 1 coaching qualification. This was a voluntary position.
