Built the database on SQL Server Management Studio after presenting and obtaining approval from the Big Data team by constructing SQL queries.• Liaised with colleagues from different departments on automating data stream from various sources to get real time thermal power plant optimization figures and data via Azure function and Azure Web Job.• Collaborated with the thermal team in India on creating a dynamic web application that allows users to match coal inputs to thermal power plants accurately. The web app includes multiple validation checks before it is saved to the database to prevent the need of manually backtracking large datasets to correct errors such as overlapping time ranges for coal inputs and to ensure accurate data aggregation figures for analysis.
