Responsibilities include all mechanical systems in the data center (fire suppression/HVAC/power distribution/UPS) to the primary core services required for authentication, print, disaster recovery, workstation management systems, PKI to name a few. As team lead I coordinate cross team integration to meet SLAs and customer requirements on a daily basis. At a technical level, I manage the fiber channel network and all attached devices. I also am the point person on all things virtualized across 53 virtual hosts hosting 100+ servers. Currently assisting deputy project manager in planning and evaluating various hardware vendor proposals for a complete data center WinTel refresh project. Once a vendor is selected the infrastructure team will install and convert to the new hardware.
