  I have worked for many years organizing Mennofolk festivals in Bluffton OH, Michiana, Harrisonburg VA, Germantown PA and Waterloo ONT. Currently I coordinate the Mennofolk Town Hall Concert Series in Bluffton, booking monthly performances by touring musicians. I volunteer for the Bluffton Cultural Affairs Committee to create a line up of entertainment, handle all publicity and media coverage, communicate with the performers, and direct the event itself.   I have played a lot of roles at COHA, from front desk worker to IV tech, helping with intakes and being a shoulder for patients to cry on. A big part of my job here was to be a support to patients in any way I could. I taught cooking classes, tried to get support groups started and provided a listening ear for many people in a healing crisis. Reiki assisted me in doing this, helping in the healing process of many, many clients.

I organized three festivals per year, recruited members, sometimes door to door, worked on corporate relations and helped develop small businesses in my own small town. One of my greatest achievements in this job is that I initiated and managed a successful farmers market that is still thriving every week.
