  I work as a Regional SNAP-Ed Health and Wellness Coordinator in the U of MN Extension Department of Family, Health and Wellbeing. I supervise 6 SNAP-ED Health and Wellness Coordinators in SE MN who teach evidence-based nutrition education and encourage physical activity. They also work in community with stakeholders to explore potential policy, systems and environmental changes utilizing place based approaches in communities. Community engagement through outreach and agency relationship building around food access and equity issues. Database monitoring and reporting, budget monitoring, program development, supervisory tasks, staff evaluations, adherence to University and USDA grant protocol, and serve on relevant regional committees.
