The majority of my work in the campaign was in garnering public support for Mason and gauging which way residents living on the Peninsula were likely to vote in the November election. Within this, I took on the leadership position of training other interns in the proper ways to speak with voters and lead weekly “phone banking” sessions in which volunteers reached out to voters via the telephone to communicate Mason’s messages.
