  Design mounting components designed to securely fasten components of the new spectrograph being built to be used on CWU's new research telescope. I was selected by CWU Physics and Astronomy faculty to assist in the launch of a high altitude balloon into the 2017 solar eclipse as part of the NASA Eclipse Balloon Project. This included conducting my own experiment with a team on test flights of the balloon during Spring quarter 2017. The project revealed many challenges but overall, it was a success.

  Liaison Engineer 787 Final Assembly

  I completed a mechanical engineering internship with The Boeing Company where I worked in a Liaison Engineer position on the 787 Final Assembly team in the factory in Everett. I worked noncomformance issues that arose during assembly of the aircraft and was training toward becoming Material Review Board certified. Also during my time at The Boeing Company, I took a hands-on course on composite materials where I manufactured my own carbon fiber part and put the part through stress testing.

  Currently performing flight controls software testing and requirements validation and verification for Boeing's 777X program, including both the 777-9 and 777-8F. Flight controls testing is conducted at Boeing's Integration Test Vehicle laboratory in Seattle.
