      As a student medical student I had the opportunity to shadow a Family medicine doctor. My role as a Medical assistant Extern was to provide a place where patients were well taken care of as well as their medical needs met. I fulfilled the responsibilities of giving patients intake care and online duties such as updating medical records and fulfilling requests for medicine refills by the provider.
