  At Politecnico Di Milano, I have pursued a Master's degree in aeronautical engineering, in which I have studied numerous aeronautical fields as part of our study program. Some of these subjects are related to Aerodynamics, Airplane Performance, Structural Dynamics and Aeroelasticity, and Aerospace Structures. Concerning the thesis topic, my work focused on hydrogen refueling practices in aviation. The main goal was to obtain preflight fuel amounts using flight schedules in three European airports. The results of my work mainly explore how optimal fuel amounts are computed. The fuel amounts ensure flight operability and consider the economical aspect as well. Furthermore, fuel tankering practice was also investigated, where we analyzed its impact on total fuel cost and extra fuel consumption. Show less
