  HTTP Foundation (Hálózati Tudás Terjesztéséért Programiroda Alapítvány - HTTP Alapítvány) was founded in 2005. The main goal of the Foundation is to ensure the labour supply of specialist in IT. HTTP gives prominence for assistance of the education and employment of the disadvantaged social groups. HTTP was involved several projects which are intended to develop the Hungarian ICT vocational training system. HTTP also encourages harmonizing of the trade specific qualifications with the national qualifications.Main activities:- Registered Adult Training Institution offering IT courses- "Bridge role" between the IT labour market and education sector, offering recruitment and training services for IT companies - Developing and localizing online IT contents.- Supporting talented young people, organizing local and international skills competitions- IT education for people with disadvantages (teacher training for blind instructors. develop accessible training material, training prisoners to learn IT).- Support center and instructor training center of different high quality non-profit education systems, like Cisco Networking Academy, Microsoft IT Academy and VMware IT Academy- Active role in the development of the national vocational education curriculum.
